Every room has its own personality, filled with unexpected finds, curious objects, beautiful furniture, unusual décor, vintage pieces, and things that are nearly impossible to describe but far too interesting to leave behind.
Look high. Look low. Open your eyes to the odd, the elegant, the nostalgic, and the wonderfully peculiar. The entire place is constantly changing, with new finds arriving and displays being reinvented, so no two visits ever feel quite the same.
Come often. Take your time. Wander through twice. You never know what is waiting around the next corner.
We are located at 628 8th Street in the south lot, next door to Luxury Unleashed. Look for the large blue building and metal fence, then turn right and follow the signs.

Before You Visit
We do not have a public restroom. No animals are permitted inside because ancient, medically fragile dogs are inside the shop and are very vulnerable. First Dibs Club members and Day Pass holders must show identification at the door. This is not a plus-one admission; every person must have their own membership or Day Pass.
We are open usually on Sundays, 1:00 to 3:00 PM, but check our Facebook page often for updates, or skip the wait entirely and shop first, every week, as a First Dibs Club member.

The best pieces never even make it to the public floor. They’re gone in a two hour window, snapped up by members who got there before the doors ever opened to everyone else.
Every week, First Dibs Club members get first look, first pick, and layaway. Spots are limited. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The Wandering Thrift is a curiosity shop: furniture, housewares, vintage linens, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind finds, not clothing. Every purchase supports Gigi’s Gems Chihuahua Rescue, a nonprofit giving senior and special needs Chihuahuas a second chance right here in Montana.

Have Something Worth Finding a New Home?
We would love to give your treasure a second home. What we’re looking for: furniture, housewares, vintage and antique items, vintage linens, collectible toys, art, jewelry, tools, and anything with a story worth telling.
Because Shannon and Dennis both have medical lifting restrictions, we need a hand with large or heavy loads. Here’s how that can work:
- We come to you: if you have someone who can load your items into our trailer, we’ll come to your home.
- You come to us: if you can transport and unload the items yourself, we will arrange a time to meet you at our storage facility.
- We arrange a crew: for larger and/or heavier loads, we can set up a time to pick it up from your home and will bring a hired crew to help.
We are not able to accept clothing, shoes, mattresses, or books.
Please do not leave donations at 628 8th Street without an arranged time. We cannot keep items safe or dry at this location, so anything left there unscheduled will be discarded. Request a time below instead, and we will work it out with you.
